This holiday let is all about a great location:

 

 It is easy to get to the small town shops, pubs and restaurants.

Bala lake is only a few minutes walk away.

​

We leave our guests a self guided walk which starts and end from Dau Ddeg Saith;s door.  Not only does it take in lots of beautiful scenes around Bala, we also pass on interesting local information.

​

We also suggest some interesting and scenic routes for a full day out - which you can enjoy by car, also getting out at interesting places along the way if you wish.  This and plenty more suggestions are given in our welcome brochure.

The leisure centre near the lake has a fun pool with flume.

There are lovely lake and riverside walks.

Bala Lake narrow gauge railway is close by

There is a beautiful pottery shop in town where you can not only buy beautiful hand crafted items, but also select and paint  your own piece - great for children of all ages and relaxing for us adults too!

The Tryweryn White Water Centre is only 3 miles away 

​

Glan Y Gors British Karting circuit is only 15 minutes drive.

​

The Mick Extance motorcross experience is 25 minutes drive

​

Two different Zipworld centres are 30 minutes drive

​

There are a variety of biking routes and trails.  We recommend mountain biking for all ages and experience at one of  Coed y Brenin's 9 trails or a lovely family ride along Barmouth Estuary starting and Penmaenpool.  There are plenty of others we can recommend if wanted.
